Mission
UniScore's mission is to improve education by integrating Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) through measurable assessment and development.
The challenge
The problem UniScore addresses is the lack of measurable, long-term integration of Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) in higher education. While universities often promote D&I, there is little structured assessment of its impact on students over time. This gap is especially concerning as some countries, like the U.S., roll back D&I efforts in education, and far-right movements gain traction in Europe, challenging inclusive values.
The solution
Now more than ever, universities need concrete tools to track and strengthen D&I, ensuring that students graduate with the skills to navigate diverse and globalized environments. UniScore provides a data-driven solution through an online platform where universities can assess and track the development of Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) among their students. Incoming students (first-year bachelor’s or master’s) take an initial assessment to measure their baseline understanding and attitudes toward D&I. At the end of their program (after three years for bachelor’s or one to two years for master’s), they retake the test to measure their growth. The platform provides universities with detailed insights, allowing them to adjust curricula, implement targeted interventions, and demonstrate their commitment to fostering an inclusive academic environment. Students with a high score will receive a certificate, enhancing their job market value by showcasing their intercultural competence and inclusive leadership skills.
