Mission
Our mission is to increase blood donations among students by making the donation process more accessible, informative, and rewarding. We aim to raise awareness about the importance of blood donation while providing students with clear guidance and incentives to participate enthusiastically and proudly in this vital cause.
The challenge
In the Netherlands, blood donation rates are declining, and many people and also students, are unaware of the process or feel uncertain about how and where to donate blood. Additionally, there is a lack of incentives to motivate people to participate in blood donation programs, leading to fewer donations and a reduction in the available blood supply.
The solution
We create a partnership with universities to promote blood donation among students. By offering benefits such as a discount on health insurance for donors, we can motivate students to donate blood. This will help make the process easier and more appealing, especially for non-European students who may be unaware of the opportunities available. Through targeted campaigns and on-campus events, we will raise awareness, encourage participation, and make blood donation an appealing, rewarding, and accessible activity for all students.
